Auto Reply Gone Wrong

I just sent an email to a customer, using the email address they provided:  IT@mycompany.com.

Seconds later, I got an auto reply from the customer’s Bob@mycompany.com address, telling me they’re away from the office for the next four days.

If I needed them urgently, who do you think I should contact?

IT@mycompany.com

Brilliant. I’ll be sure to get myself trapped in that loop.

I sure hope nothing urgent happens while Bob’s gone.
